Bobi Wine Denies Organising Tomorrow’s March to Parliament Protests

Politician and former artiste president of National Unity Platform (NUP) Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine has denied organising tomorrows March2Parliament prostest.

He said people are going around saying he is the person behind it but he is not although he is supporting it and his political party. According to Bobi Wine, the regime of president Museveni are trying to make the protest look like it is organized by NUP and it is the way to weaken the whole protest.

The NUP president said the anti corruption protest in Uganda is organized by young people and everyone willing to join should do so as it is the voice that is listened to so fast.

“For the record, the 23rd July #March2Parliament protests are not organized by @NUP_Ug. But we support them with all our might because we are #PeoplePower and we absolutely believe in the Power of the People. We support every effort to protest against injustice, corruption and misrule.

The effort by the regime to clamp down and make it look like an NUP initiative is meant to weaken it because they want to make it appear like a partisan matter. The #AntiCorruptionProtests as we know them are organized by the young people of Uganda regardless of their age, religion, tribe or political affiliation! The criminal regime and its antics will certainly fail!!,”

It should be noted that President Museveni warned Ugandans who want to protest saying they are playing with fire
